In order to successfully complete this renovation, we have the 313 Badr Challenge, which allows students to raise funds that will help towards the renovation.

Why Badr?

The word Badr comes from the Battle of Badr in 624 CE. During the blessed month of Ramadan, 313 Muslims achieved a miraculous victory by defeating a well-equipped 1,000-man army of Quraysh. This significant victory marked a major turning point for the Muslim community. In Badr, a small group of believers stood strong against overwhelming odds, fighting for the values of justice, equality, and freedom. As they stood firm, united, and determined, the Nusrat (Help) of Allah came.

Moral of the story - a SMALL number of people CAN accomplish BIG THINGS.

Join us as one of the 313 special individuals by donating £313 to help raise nearly £98,000 for the renovation of Highfields Eden Centre. Your contribution will enhance and improve the services we provide to the community.

Certificates and rewards are awaiting those children who complete the BADR Challenge.

How does it work?

There’s 313 Numbered Shields, every shield represents a Badri Sahabi e.g. Shield one is Ubay ibn Ka’b’s Shield.

By selecting a shield and adding your name, you commit to raising £313. Every child will receive a certificate for raising £313. Moreover, what’s more interesting, the top fundraisers will receive first, second, and third place rewards, making it even more exciting.
