WELCOME TO
Luton Muslims’s Page
in support of Ummah Welfare Trust

Almost two million people in Gaza - more than 85% of the population - have fled their homes in the last three months. More than 24,000 have been killed, 60,000 injured and half of all housing units in Gaza have been destroyed, left uninhabitable or damaged as a result of Israel’s relentless bombardment and ground assault.
In order to support our brothers and sisters in Palestine, we are going to complete a 5k walk, jog or run to raise as much as we can to provide water, cooked meals, dry food rations and medical assistance to families facing an unprecedented criminal onslaught.
Please donate generously and feel free to participate in the 5k which will take place as part of the weekly Luton Park run from Wardown Park boathouse on Saturday 3rd February at 9am.
Our beloved Prophet (peace be upon him) said: “Whoever relieves a believer’s distress from the distressful aspects of this world, Allah will rescue him from the difficulties of the Hereafter.” (Sahih Muslim)
Ummah Welfare Trust has an established charitable base in Gaza and have been supplying essential relief to those most in need as outlined in their annual report https://uwt.org/wp-content/uploads/2023/03/UWT-AnnualReport-2023-1444-v2-ONLINE.pdf.
