Sadaqah Jariyah – the merciful gift with ongoing rewards
We are seeking funds to install a deep-water well in Pakistan as an act of sadaqah jariyah in Kat's name, Insha'Allah. Pakistan is in dire need of clean water, as communities lack access to safe drinking, cooking, and hygiene water. These conditions force people to suffer from waterborne diseases due to the absence of alternative water sources. By donating, you can help save lives.
Drinking dirty water can lead to diseases like cholera, dysentery, typhoid, and diarrhea, causing approximately 485,000 diarrheal deaths each year. Sadly, 85% of the Pakistani population lacks access to clean drinking water. Families have to walk long distances to fetch water for their daily needs, straining themselves to collect contaminated and unsafe water, which contributes to about 40% of all deaths in Pakistan.
By providing a deep-water well, we can supply clean and safe drinking water to families and impoverished communities, preventing the spread of diseases. We kindly request you to donate whatever amount you can in the name of our beloved friend. May Allah SWT grant her complete shifa and accept this contribution from all of us.
