About Reading Islamic Cultural Centre
Also known as Cumberland Road Masjid
We are a masjid established upon the Qur'an and Sunnah. We are a centre for learning where our daily madrassah caters for 190 children and our Imam provides classes on a variety of subjects which are also streamed to the wider community. Sisters benefit from their own dedicated classes in Qur'an Recitation, Tajweed and Arabic. We also support welfare projects to help those suffering around the world.
Our main focus is engagement for the youth - running holiday workshops and programmes that help the youth to connect with Islam while building friendships. All our programmes promote personal development and real life skills.
We are looking to expand our facilities so we can enhance our provision to the whole community.
