The Plight of the Palestinian People

The people of Palestine face one of the most profound humanitarian crises in the world today. The 2.8 million Palestinians residing in the Gaza Strip are enduring extreme hardships due to severe restrictions on entry and exit. This situation has led to widespread illness, starvation, and a critical shortage of clean water.

A Humanitarian Catastrophe

The ongoing conflict has resulted in the tragic loss of thousands of Palestinian lives, with countless others injured. Approximately 1.8 million individuals have been displaced from their homes, urgently seeking safe shelter. The relentless challenges they face include power outages, limited access to medical assistance, and dwindling food supplies.

The Refugee Crisis

Since 1948, hundreds of thousands of Palestinians have been forced to flee their homes in search of safety, becoming refugees in neighbouring countries. Currently, more than 4.6 million Palestinians are living as refugees, many residing in camps throughout the West Bank, Gaza Strip, Jordan, and Lebanon. These communities continue to face significant challenges as they seek to rebuild their lives.

Our Response

Muslim Help UK is committed to alleviating the suffering of the Palestinian people. Our dedicated team on the ground has already distributed food packs and water supplies in the Gaza Strip and is actively working to continue these efforts.
