UPDATE 02/04/24

Jazak'Allah Khayr to everyone who has supported and donated our mission. The orphanage is entering its final stage of construction, Alhamdulillah; with the aim to be completed by June.

In addition to building the orphanage, we have decided that we are not stopping here. 

We are now also fundraising to SPONSOR all 35 orphans that will be housed there. We would like the orphanage to function immediately, and the children to hit thr ground running. 

Sponsor an Orphan for a month = £40

Sponsor an Orphan for a year = £480

Orphanage Build Cost: £50,000

Orphans Sponsorship: £16,000

Food aid within same area £6,000 (200 Food parcels)

FTH Orphanage Project - Ghana

Assalamualaikum,

The FTH UK team are fundraising to build an Orphanage in Ghana insha’Allah. So Please join us to make this initiative happen together as an Ummah.

Narrated Sahl bin Sa`d:
The Prophet (ﷺ) said,

"I and the person who looks after an orphan and provides for him, will be in Paradise like this," putting his index and middle fingers together.

[Sahih al-Bukhari 6005]

There are countless Hadiths and Quran verses regarding the importance of looking after Orphans.
The Prophet ﷺ had a special place in his heart for Orphans,  as he himself became one. 
We as the ummah of the Prophet ﷺ should also have a special place in our hearts for them and do as much as we can for them. 

Alhamdulilah, we have been given the opportunity to give them a home. 
These children will not have a childhood like you and I- With fathers to hold their hands and mothers to treat their wounds. These children have only got each other. Building an Orphanage will give them a roof over their heads and most importantly an environment where they are well fed, educated and taken care of. 

Remember it is a 100% donation policy. And all the funds raised will go directly to building the orphanage.
