As-Salāmu `Alaykum wa Raħmatullāhi wa Barakātuhu   (Peace be with you) 

Hi everyone my name is Dr Eesa and this summer I am so excited to announce that I will be going to Kenya with Zaima Charity to help run a medical camp for those less fortunate in the world.

Zaimah is a non-profit organisation committed to making a positive change in the lives of the underprivileged across the globe. This particular mission to Kenya runs from 15th August to 22nd August 2024. Myself and a group of doctors will be volunteering in the medical camps providing free basic healthcare, setting up immunisation clinics and educating the local community on health and wellbeing.

Many remote communities in Kenya lack access to adequate healthcare. Your support will enable us to establish medical clinics, provide essential medical supplies and offer healthcare outreach programmes, improving the overall wellbeing of the population. For those of you who know me personally it has always been a dream of mine to go abroad as a doctor, helping those most vulnerable and with your support and donations we will embark upon this journey together inshallah.  As I will be going personally you can see firsthand where your donations will be spent and through Zaima’s social media and updates.I have always been passionate about healthcare being a human right and it does not matter where or who you are in the world all humans deserve access to free basic healthcare. Unfortunately there are many places in the world where this is not the case and people go without healthcare because they simply can’t afford it. Please don’t forget your privilege, it is more than likely that we could have been born anywhere else in the world where our situation could have been very different.
