As-Salamu-Alaykum
*JANUARY 2025*
Alhumdulillah I have been selected to participate in the *January 2025 (1446AH)* Hijrah Ride from *Makkah to Madinah* (Saudi Arabia) with Aid For Mankind UK.
The challenge is to cycle over *350 miles over 3 days in aid of the orphans of Palestine.* All riders have been tasked to raise a minimum of *£3,000* with a group target of *£100,000*. I have paid to do this ride with a contribution from the sponsers. None of the donation is being used to fund this ride
*Nearly  30,000  Palestinians have been killed in Gaza, including over 14,000 innocent children.*
The unrest in Gaza has made life hard for these children, many of them have become orphans losing one or both of their parents.
A staggering 85% of all people in Gaza are now displaced, and 70% of homes are damaged or destroyed.  Officially there is no safe place left in the entire Gaza Strip.
