Throughout Gaza and the wider State of Palestine, 1.5 million children need urgent support. The war has had a horrific impact on children and their families, which will last long after the fighting stops.

60% of those killed in Gaza are women and children. Children and families have faced repeat displacement, widespread violence, hunger and disease. The risk of famine is growing.

SUMMARY OF EVENTS IN GAZA

Shelling and arson have destroyed 534 schools throughout Gaza.

90% of people in Gaza are internally displaced.

Thousands of children have been cut off from treatment for moderate and severe acute malnutrition, putting them at risk of death.These conditions are intolerable.

HOW IS MUNTADA AID SUPPORTING PEOPLE IN GAZA

IS AID GETTING INTO GAZA?   

Muntada Aid is working in Egypt to restart our aid operations in Gaza via the Rafa border. Before the ceasefire announcement, we could only send very small amounts of emergency aid into Gaza. As soon as the authorities allow us to send more assistance via the Rafa border, we will send more trucks of aid into the Wartorn Strip. 

Land-based delivery through the south of Gaza remains the most effective way to deliver aid. These roads are the main arteries for aid delivery, and so have the most significant capacity.

Where will your money go ?

The donations made to the Gaza Appeal provide food, emergency aid, and trauma support. We are not using the contributions for any other appeal. We are serving people in Gaza through our partners on the ground, and we will continue to provide this support as long as possible.
