In Shaa Allah, if we are blessed with the ability to do so, the Academy of Champions (AoC) organising team which consists of volunteers from Redditch and across the Midlands, will be aiming to stage our 17th Annual 'Cup of Champions' Tournament on Sunday 20th July, 2025.

Alhamdulilah, we have been blessed to be supported by thousands of people in the previous 16 years to deliver and continue this project and hopefully 2025 will be the same.

The faith, resilience, patience and courage of the people of Gaza is a living inspiration to many of our organising team and also our loyal participants and sponsors. Suffering from injustice and inhumane treatment at the hands of the Zionist Illegal Occupation and it's supporters, they remain steadfast and (Alhamdulilah) their courage and positivity is helping to wake up so many people across the world. 

The genocide conducted by the Illegal Occupation and it's supporters has killed thousands since October 2023, with many of the martyrs being women and children. But the Zionist sickness and brutality didn't start in 2023, this has been ongoing and targeted for over 75 years but now Gaza has been left in ruins - hospitals, schools, universities and homes all demolished - war crimes committed infront of the world, but the hope of Gazan's hasn't faded Alhamdulilah. Despite over 60,000 of their citizens being martyrs (some resources suggest this could be double the amount) and over 2 million people left with their homes destroyed or displaced in refugee camps.

Gazan's are fighting everyone's war, with very little support. No other people have shown such bravery, faith, patience and courage, anywhere in the world in the past decade - many world organizations have recognized their situation and plight but Zionist brutality hasn't stopped. 

Our project will once again be raising funds for Ummah Welfare Trust and their Gaza Emergency Appeal. The vast majority of our previous tournaments/events have raised funds for Gaza/ Palestine, Alhamdulilah. However, we have been blessed to also raise funds for other noble causes too. Alhamdulilah 

Ummah Welfare Trust, as many will know, are a trusted and widely respected UK based charity who conduct chartiable projects across the world, including in Gaza - where they are able to deliver to the millions who are in need across Gaza and within refugee camps inside of Gaza.

This includes:

Food Packs/Soup Kitchens, Clean Water Projects, Support for Widows and Orphans/Financial assistance, Sanitation, Regeneration Projects, Medical Aid amongst other much needed essential needs. 

We hope you will once again be able to support this fundraising project, which will In Shaa Allah unite 20/24 footballing teams from across the country to stand in unity for Gaza through the means of football and humanity. Over previous years, the event has attracted hundreds in spectators, raising much needed funds and continued awareness - we welcome you to attend.
