"I heard the Messenger of Allah (saw) say: 'Whoever builds a masjid (mosque) in which the Name of Allah is mentioned, Allah will build a house for him in Paradise.'" (Sahih)

Ghausia Masjid, by the blessings of Allah SWT, are aiming to raise £1.5m to renovate the local masjid in Cobridge. The masjid has been hub for the community since the early 80s. 

Significant progress has been made over the last 15 months however due to the Covid-19 pandemic, and the masjid been closed since March, there has been a huge loss of donations that helped maintain the masjid and also towards the renovation. 

Help us build the masjid and get the reward of Sadaqah Jaliyah; Sadaqah an act of giving in charity that is continuous and is one of the most beautiful forms of charity as it provides benefit for both the giver and receiver for years to come. Sadaqah Jariyah literally means ‘a continuous, ongoing charity’.
