Help Hayat: Heart Surgery Fundraiser
Hello,
My name is Sarferaz Sharif, and I’m a volunteer with Muslims in Need. I’m managing this fundraiser to support my friends Faten and Ibrahim in securing heart surgery for their daughter, Hayat. Thank you for taking the time to learn about her story.
Hayat was born with a congenital heart defect known as Tetralogy of Fallot. She is the loving big sister to Hamed (7 years old), Julia (4 years old), and baby Suliman, who just joined us six days ago! Hayat holds a special place in the hearts of many.
Her condition necessitates regular medical care, including heart valve checks every six months and valve replacement surgeries every four years. Despite facing numerous challenges, Hayat has bravely undergone several surgeries, each one a victory against the odds. She now requires two critical procedures: a cardiac catheterization followed by her final valve replacement surgery.
Ibrahim and I met while working together to assist displaced Palestinian families in Egypt, where he has been a pillar of support for countless families during these challenging times. Faten, pregnant and caring for three children, has been by his side throughout this journey. With the arrival of their new baby and the ongoing challenges of being a displaced family, any help we can provide through donations or by sharing Hayat’s story would be invaluable.

How the Funds Will Be Managed:
- I will transfer funds directly to Ibrahim and Faten on a weekly basis, or more frequently as needed.
- Currently, the best location for Hayat's treatment is in Germany. We will keep you updated if this changes or new opportunities arise.
