Current Masjid Limitations:

Significant growth in Muslim populations in the decades since has resulted in the following limitations:  

• Overflowing Fridays: Our Friday Jummah prayers are bursting at the seams three jamaats. 
• Jumma, Ramadan & Eid: Cannot accommodate the demand with long queues on the high road.
• Maximum capacity for the weekend and after school mudarris. Both have waiting lists due to capacity limitations.

Our Vision for the future and the need for redevelopment

To sustain IANL’s impact and to meet the needs of our expanding community, we are have undertaken this significant redevelopment of the Masjid. 

Worship/Religious Facilities Expansion:

• More than Double Prayer Capacity: We’re more than doubling the capacity for Salah, Jummah, Ramadan, and Eid prayers.
• Conference Hall and community office space.
• Community Zone: Social space & multi-function hall.

Expanded Youth & Sisters Services:

• Safe Recreation Area: A hub for martial arts and fitness.
• Mentorship Programs; expanded Islamic Knowledge Classes.
• Doubling Women’s capacity with improved religious and socilal Islamic facilities.

Dawah & Outreach Engagement 

• Inter-faith;  Homeless Shelters;  Food Banks;   Refugee Support  

Community & Welfare

• Dedicated community space inclusive for all
• Library and Café: Learning and community.

THE APPEAL

We need your urgent support to raise £1.5M funds to complete phase 3. 

·         By the grace of Allah we have raised £1.5M, which has enabled us to almost complete phases 1 and 2 of the works. 

·         Our next big challenge is to complete phase 3, which is to build a full watertight structure of the new building by 2025 - inshaAllah

The Prophet took part in building the Masjid in Madina with his companions’ brick by brick. Companions would build mosques in and around Medina and the Prophet would visit them, pray in them, and encourage others to support them, promising them a palace in Jannah for doing so.”
