In the heart of Azad Kashmir, where towering mountains and treacherous roads stand between families and life-saving medical care, a crisis unfolds daily. Mothers cradle sick children, unsure if they will survive the journey to the nearest hospital. The elderly endure unbearable pain, with no way to reach a doctor.

But what if the hospital came to them?

Kashmir Welfare Foundation is launching a Mobile Hospital Unit—a state-of-the-art medical facility on wheels, fully equipped with X-rays, ultrasounds, and blood testing to serve those who need it most. No more impossible journeys. No more suffering in silence.

Our recent medical camps exposed a heartbreaking reality—thousands of people are suffering from preventable diseases simply because they have no access to healthcare. We refuse to accept this. But we urgently need your help.

🥀 A Mother’s Cry – The Story of Little Ayesha (Age 3)

Ayesha was her mother’s world—a bright-eyed, giggling three-year-old who loved playing in the dust outside their small home. On 18th July, she spiked a high fever. Her mother tried everything—cold cloths, whispered prayers—but Ayesha’s breathing grew weaker.

Her mother was regularly worried for Ayesha's health. She was getting high fevers regularly since birth, but she was never properly diagnosed. Healthcare wasn't in easy reach. Funds were tight. Arranging transport was a challenge. No Ambulance service in the village.

The closest hospital was over an hour away, across dangerous mountain roads that no vehicle in their village could navigate. With no other choice, her father carried her in his arms, walking miles in the dark, desperate to save his Ayesha.

By the time they arrived, it was too late.

All Ayesha needed was a proper diagnosis that would have helped her get the right treatment—that’s all it would have taken to save Ayesha’s life. But help never reached her in time.
