I am going personally to Kenya with Zaimah Charity, a non-profit organisation committed to making a positive change in the lives of the underprivileged across the globe, is embarking on a mission that holds a special place in our hearts - a journey to Kenya from August 15th to 22nd, 2024.

Last year, with your donations we supported villages with food, medical camps and water boreholes, as well as provided essential educational packs to children across various institutes 

We also provided sewing machines to empower widows, Alhumdulillah

Kenya, known for its rich heritage, and warm people, is also home to communities that face numerous socio-economic challenges. Despite the adversities, their resilient spirit shines brightly. We aim to contribute to this spirit, help boost their courage and ease their burdens. We plan to bring a little more joy, opportunity and hope to these communities, especially the young learners and the women striving to make ends meet.

Our mission focuses on a variety of activities:

1. Gifts for School Children: We'll be visiting local schools to give school gift packs to children. Our goal is to bring them joy and encourage their pursuit of education. Your donations will help us purchase these gifts, which include educational materials and fun learning tools.

2. Medical Camp: In collaboration with local health organisations, we'll be hosting a medical camp offering free check-ups and basic healthcare services. Your contributions will help fund the necessary medical supplies and professionals.

3. Empowerment Sewing Machines: We will be donating sewing machines to women from economically disadvantaged backgrounds. This is a step towards empowering them to establish their small-scale sewing businesses, and we need your help to make it possible.

4. Computer Desktops to Darunnisa Girls Training Institute: The digitization of education is vital in today's world. By donating computer desktops to the Darunnisa Girls Training Institute, we aim to enhance their learning experience and prepare them for the digital age. Your contributions will make this vision a reality.

5. Food Hampers: Food security is a significant issue in many regions of Kenya. With your help, we aim to distribute food hampers to families in need, ensuring they don't have to worry about their next meal.

6. Water Projects: Access to clean water is a fundamental right. We're committed to initiating water projects aimed at improving water accessibility and sanitation in Kenya's most vulnerable regions. Your contributions will help fund these projects, bringing a sustainable water source closer to those who need it.
