I have spent many days in Lebanon serving our Syrian and our Palestinian brothers and sisters for many many years now. from the Syrian refugees of Beqa and Arsal, to the Beirut survivors of the great Blast and the Palestinian communities to the southern borders next to occupied Palestine. I love Lebanon and its people. it’s part of Sham and it’s part of me  

Lebanon stands on the precipice of a humanitarian disaster, with countless lives hanging by a thread. Ongoing violence, crippling poverty, and a collapsing economy have left families devastated, displaced, and struggling to survive. Now is the time for action.

Right now:

500 lives lost and counting.

Over 1,000 injured, many fighting for their lives.

Countless families fleeing their homes with nothing but the clothes on their backs.

Thousands of families are displaced, living in makeshift shelters or on the streets, cut off from basic necessities.

Hospitals are overwhelmed, running out of supplies, leaving the injured without the care they desperately need.

This kit includes soap, toothpaste, toothbrushes, washing materials, a towel, loofah, shampoo, a flashlight, a bucket, trash bags, sanitary napkins, and dishwashing liquid.

Hot Meal 

£20: Provide a family of 5 with a nutritious hot meal, offering much-needed sustenance. Each meal includes rice with chicken, meat, or vegetables.

£125: Ensure a family of 5 receives three hot meals a day for five consecutive days, helping them survive through critical moments.

Non-Food Item Kit - £20

For £20, you can provide one person with a Non-Food Item (NFI) kit that includes a mattress, blanket, and pillow—basic but essential items for comfort and rest.

The Heartbreaking Reality in Lebanon

Lebanon is enduring one of its darkest moments. Families who once thrived are now living in poverty, unable to afford food or basic necessities. Over 80% of the population is below the poverty line, and 36% are in extreme poverty.

Children are particularly vulnerable. Approximately 700,000 children risk losing their chance at an education as schools close and families struggle to survive. The healthcare system is collapsing, with many being turned away from hospitals due to a lack of resources.
