MASJID AND WATER-WELL PROJECT

The locals in Samooli Village, Bulambulli District, Uganda have been praying their Salah under a tree for the past TWO YEARS. During the rainy season Salah is cancelled. 

The villagers have to travel several miles for clean water.

We want to help the community and construct them a bricked Masjid and build them a water well. 

This project is a means of Sadaqah Jariyyah for the late wife of Mufti Abdul Hannan Sahib (Imam and Khateeb of Bury Park Masjid, Luton).  She passed away on Tuesday 26th May.

Brief legacy: Mufti Abdul Hannan Sahib came to the UK with his family in the early 80’s. Mufti Sahib's late wife was a very influential person in the community. A lady with sublime character and very strong person in making lots of Deeni effort amongst the womenfolk. She sacrificed a lot of her free time, always putting the needs of others before hers. A role model for the whole community. 

For several years she was the first Arabic and Quran teacher. A lot of madrasah graduates today from Luton have studied foundation levels from her.

Surely she has left a legacy and Sadaqah-Jariyyah in many forms. Truly she is a woman of paradise. Allah grant her the highest abode in Jannah. Ameen

The total cost of the project is £5000

Once complete, we will be naming it Masjid-e-Mamataz InshaAllah.

Extra funds collected will go towards Darul Ihsaan school project.
