The ‘1 million meals’ campaign is a community campaign, launched under the umbrella of Zakaria Masjid & Education Centre in collaboration with global charities, to provide food assistance to less fortunate families and individuals.

 The ’1 million meals’ campaign comes in response to the coronavirus (Covid-19) pandemic, the biggest threat currently facing humanity, that caused a paralleled health crisis with multiple economic and social repercussions. Whilst the Zakaria Masjid & Education Centre has over the last several weeks worked tirelessly to provide support to those in our community and beyond, we feel there is even a greater need to support the UMMAH in countries where situations are often critical and where hunger is even a bigger killer than COVID-19.

The ‘1 million meals’ campaign enables corporates, entities, humanitarian and charitable organizations, businessmen, philanthropists and the general public to make financial contributions towards providing meals.

OUR GOALS

• Our main goal it to provide meals for both suhoor and iftaar for individuals and families affected by the coronavirus (Covid-19) outbreak and fulfill their basic life necessities.
  
  
• Every single meal you donate will be distributed to the most needy. We are working with partner charities on the ground in various continents who are ready to ensure that each and every meal you donate is quickly and efficiently provided to those that need it most.
