MIllion Meals 2021
The ‘million meals’ campaign is a community campaign, launched under the umbrella of Zakaria Masjid & Education Centre in collaboration with global charities, to provide food assistance to less fortunate families and individuals.
The ’million meals’ campaign was launched in 2020, in response to the coronavirus (Covid-19) pandemic which has had multiple economic and social repercussions on communities all over the world. In 2020, through your support and donations we raised over £300, 000 providing nearly 2.5 million meals to the most needy. In 2021, we feel that the need is even greater therfore we have expanded our project across more countries to provide more meals to the most needy.
The ‘million meals’ campaign enables corporates, entities, humanitarian and charitable organizations, businessmen, philanthropists and the general public to make financial contributions towards providing meals.
OUR UNIQUE DONATIONS POLICY
We will pass on 100% of your donation to the most needy. If you claim Gift Aid we will pass on the FULL 25% too. This is our unique donation policy.
Only the payment charges will be deducted (unless you contribute this at checkout)
Our service is 100% Voluntary
(No Marketing or Admin costs are taken from the Gift Aid)
E.g. If you Donate £100 & Claim Gift Aid (25%)
We will pass on £125 of your £100 donation to providing meals.

OUR GOALS
Our main goal it to provide meals for both suhoor and iftaar for individuals and families affected by the coronavirus (Covid-19) outbreak and fulfill their basic life necessities.
Every single meal you donate will be distributed to the most needy. We are working with partner charities on the ground in various continents who are ready to ensure that each and every meal you donate is quickly and efficiently provided to those that need it most.
