My brothers and sisters I hope you are well Insha'Allah. I am sure that you are aware of the current situation in Al-Gaza. You do not have to be a Muslim to acknowledge this injustice, you just have to be human. They have been subjects to decades of oppression, violence, hostility & occupation via an open-air prison, and now are being subjected to an ethnic cleansing and merciless genocide, to which much of the world has become blind or willingly ignorant. Over 5000 Palestinians have been martyred, over 2000 of whom were children, and over 1000 of whom were women. There are estimated to be 1.4 million internally displaced persons in Gaza. To many, these are just numbers, but each of these is someone's mother, father, sister, brother, daughter, son or friend.

We have a duty to help in any way we can. Ibn Abbas reported: The Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said, The Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) said: “Whoever feeds someone who is hungry will have his sins forgiven, and whoever helps someone to travel will have his sins forgiven.

As such, we are teaming up with UWT to raise money for those most in need. They are a very reliable charity as most of you will know, with an office on the ground for 15 years there in Palestine serving the people of Al-Gaza. In addition to this, they have a 100% donation policy! So you can be reassured that all of your money will definitely go towards the Palestinians in need. By giving to the Gaza Crisis Appeal, funds will be distributed in accordance with what is most needed at the time of spending, out of the following projects: clean water distribution (via their 4 tankers on the ground), hot meal distribution, dry food distribution, fuel distribution, zakat grants, orphan sponsorship and even hifdh sponsorship.
