We are pleased to share some amazing news—Alhamdulillah, by the grace of Allah and with your generous support, we have completed the initial setup of the Youth/Islamic Centre and have officially begun running programs and activities! From Islamic classes and mentoring sessions to recreational and community-building events, the centre is already becoming a hub of positive change for our youth.

But we’re not done yet.

To make this vision a reality, we had to move quickly—and in doing so, we’ve incurred approximately £20,000 in debt to secure and prepare the space. Now, we need your help to pay off this debt and ensure the centre can continue operating smoothly, free from financial burdens.

In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful. We begin this noble endeavor with the hope of seeking Allah's blessings, and we invite you to join us on this journey to build a future that nurtures our youth and strengthens our community.

Our youth are not only the leaders of tomorrow but are also our responsibility today. As parents, mentors, and community members, it is our duty to provide them with the tools, guidance, and support they need to flourish in this world and succeed in the Hereafter. Together, with As-Subah Outreach and Ground Roots, we are launching an ambitious project to establish a dedicated Youth/Islamic Centre—a place that will become a hub of learning, spiritual growth, and empowerment.

Why This Centre is Vital

In a world full of distractions and challenges, many of our young people find it increasingly difficult to stay connected to their faith, culture, and community. Social media, peer pressure, and negative influences often pull them away from the values we strive to instill. This centre will serve as a refuge from these challenges, offering a safe and welcoming space where they can grow in their Deen and thrive as positive contributors to society.

We seek to raise £30,000 to establish this Youth/Islamic Centre, which will offer:

• Islamic Education: Regular classes and workshops to enhance their knowledge of Qur’an, Hadith, and Islamic ethics, empowering them to apply these teachings in their everyday lives.
• Character Development: Programs that focus on building good manners (akhlaq), leadership skills, and emotional intelligence, all based on the teachings of the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him).
• Recreational Activities: Sports, arts, and team-building exercises that encourage healthy physical activity, teamwork, and personal discipline within an Islamic environment.
• Mentorship & Counselling: One-on-one guidance and support from experienced mentors who will help our youth navigate the complexities of life, both spiritually and emotionally.
• Community Engagement: A space for our youth to participate in community service, charity work, and local outreach programs, reinforcing the Islamic principles of giving back and serving humanity.

The Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) said: “When a person dies, his deeds come to an end except for three: Sadaqah Jariyah (ongoing charity), knowledge that is benefited from, and a righteous child who prays for him.” (Sahih Muslim)
