In Bahanal village, Pakistan, during Ramadan, food parcels are distributed to families in need. These parcels typically include essential food items such as rice, flour, lentils, cooking oil, and spices, ensuring that families can break their fast with nutritious meals. Additionally, as part of the Ramadan tradition, Eid clothes are provided to children and adults in the village. These clothes are often traditional garments, such as shalwar kameez for men and women, and are distributed to ensure that everyone can celebrate Eid al-Fitr, marking the end of Ramadan, in new attire, regardless of their financial situation.
Similarly, in Mirpur, Azad Kashmir, Ramadan brings about a similar tradition of distributing food parcels and Eid clothes to those in need. The food parcels contain staples like rice, wheat flour, pulses, cooking oil, and other essentials, enabling families to sustain themselves throughout the month of fasting. Additionally, Eid clothes are distributed to bring joy and festivity to the community, allowing individuals to celebrate the culmination of Ramadan with new attire, fostering a sense of unity and solidarity among the residents of Mirpur. These traditions reflect the spirit of generosity and compassion that defines Ramadan in these regions, where communities come together to support one another during this sacred month.
