On 3rd June 2023, over 40 riders will be taking on the challenge of cycling from Amsterdam to Copenhagen, spanning almost 420 miles over 5 days, through 4 countries, with Riders of Shaam (ROS) Cycling Club. 

One of the chosen charities that the riders will be supporting is Help the Homeless.

Help the Homeless is a UK-based Leicester charity that advocates accommodation for homeless people. They help with basic food essentials via their foodbank, recycling white goods to be tested and then donated to those who can’t afford them or are moving into a new property.

Recycling used clothes and donating to those who can’t afford clothing. Relieving social isolation by giving mobile phones to people and assisting with the opening of bank accounts for those with no ID or fixed address.

Your Donation will 

• Enable Homeless people or anyone at risk of homelessness into new accommodation
• Provide food essentials to anybody who is struggling
• Relieve social Isolation via basic mobile phones with top-ups
• Enable us to purchase Move-in Packs for those coming out of homelessness and into a tenancy

PLEASE NOTE - Help The Homeless Projects are Sadaqa/Lillah Only

Your support will provide:

• Help to move a person into accommodation. Pays for a deposit into a deposit scheme, first months rent whilst benefits are put into place and a move in pack. £1000 
• A deposit or first month's rent for someone newly accommodated: £450
• Move-In Pack - This includes: crockery, cutlery, towels, pots, pans, bedding, duvets, pillows, a microwave and other essentials to make the new property a home: £150
• B&B accommodation to provide a warm bed for a night:  £35
• Food Pack: £15 each
