We are thrilled to announce that the Bosnia Trust will be participating in the Sarajevo Half Marathon in September 2024. This exciting event not only allows us to take on a physical challenge but also provides an incredible opportunity to raise essential funds for our key projects that support the most vulnerable in Bosnia and Herzegovina.
Our focus is on three crucial areas:
- Supporting the Vulnerable – Elderly and Mentally Unwell: We are dedicated to improving the lives of sensitive elderly individuals and those struggling with severe mental health issues.
- Supporting Widows: Widows in Bosnia face significant hardships, often living in poverty without a stable source of income. Through our programs, we provide them with financial assistance, emotional support, and access to community resources, empowering them to rebuild their lives with dignity. We provide Counselling to help them through their hardships as well as those Widows who lost their loved ones during the aggression and genocide.
- Self-Sustaining Projects – Greenhouses and Cow Project: We believe in providing long-term solutions to poverty. Our greenhouses and cow projects equip families with the means to generate their own income and sustain themselves. These projects provide food security, economic empowerment, and a path towards independence for many families.
By participating in the Sarajevo Half Marathon, we aim to raise funds to continue and expand these life-changing projects. We invite you to support us in this endeavor. Whether you choose to donate or share our message, every bit of support brings us closer to achieving our goals and making a lasting impact on the lives of the vulnerable in Bosnia.

About Community Outreach Uk
Community Outreach UK is a charitable organisation run by volunteers providing various services and activities since 2013.
Community Outreach UK works on a range of issues, such as poverty alleviation, emergency crisis response and youth engagement. In addition to delivering services, Community Outreach UK has an educational role.
The very essence of Community Outreach UK is to promote the real teachings of peace and unity. These teachings are the fundamental elements of Islam, which is not just a religion but a way of life. There are equally important social and moral aspects to Islam as religious duties.
The Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) has said “every act of kindness is charity.”
Keeping this statement as a motto, Community Outreach UK endeavours to fulfil the social responsibilities and obligations Muslims have towards mankind and the environment at large.
Kindness has no attachment to religion, race or ethnicity. This is open to anyone who might not otherwise have access to those services; this includes people from any faith, or no faith and from all walks of life.
We aim to build an integrated and strong community through projects which unite people for the pursuit of peace and harmony.
