Sadaqah Jariyah for (late) Syed Aftab Hussain Shah - Solar Water Well, Pakistan

Sa’d ibn ‘Ubadah reported: I said, “O Messenger of Allah, my mother has died. Shall I give charity on her behalf?” The Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said, “Yes.” I said, “Which charity is best?” The Prophet said, “A drink of water.”

Syed Aftab Hussain Shah passed away on 03 February 2023, due to Brain Cancer (GBM). He was not just an amazing father, he was an amazing friend to us all. He was an amazing Mamu, an amazing Husband, an amazing Son, and an amazing brother. 

As a Sadaqah Jariyah project and in memory of my Father, I would like to fundraise for a Solar Water Well in Pakistan. The total cost is £3000, please donate generously and share the link, feedback provided, JazakAllahu Khayra.

Water is an essential asset which our body needs to function, however many people around the world do not have access to this luxury. The less fortunate have to travel miles in the heat to get access to water which contains chemicals and parasites which is not good for the human body, but they have no choice. We can walk to the kitchen and fill up out glass and drink clean water, they can't. This is why, in behalf of my Dad, I would like to donate money to build hand pumps for the less fortunate. 

The Prophet ‎ﷺ said:
When the human being dies, his deeds end except for three: ongoing charity, beneficial knowledge, or a righteous child who prays for him.” Ṣaḥīḥ Muslim 1631
