Chato Orphanage, Tanzania - Addressing the Urgent Needs

Your generous donations will provide immediate relief for over 50 orphaned children lacking basic necessities such as a place to sleep. The running cost of the orphanage centre is approximately £32,000 a year, but first we must  compete building the girls dormitories and kitchen/diner.

The orphan children have been sleeping on the Masjid floor due to the absence of an alternative shelter. 

Your generous contributions will be essential in building suitable accommodation for these destitute orphans. We currently look after over 50 orphans most of whom have lost both their parents. We have already completed building the boys dorms and now need to build separate dorms for the girls and a dining hall for the children and staff.

Ishaq aged 6 lost both his parents to HIV. Nurian lost her mother at the age of 7 and was a rape victim of her father. Zainab aged 9 also lost her mother at a very young age. She had never attended school until she came to the orphanage. She was a victim of rape from her father. She is currently thriving at the orphanage and learning tailoring skills.
