Al-ḥumdulilāh, by the grace of Allah, we are now in a position to finalise the purchase of our new property and future home of The Amina Institute. To complete the purchase we need to raise £200,000.

 

Who we are:

• Founded: November 2021

• Registered charity: The Amina Trust (UK), since March 2023

• Mission: To support women and girls in building strong faith, good character, healthy lifestyles, and moral values. Our core classes are aimed for 14-17 year old who are at their most sensitive phase to develop into strong members of society.

 

Why we’re moving:

Alhamdullilah, our services have been in high demand and we’ve outgrown our current place — a terrace house — and need a larger, more accessible building.

 

We've secured a new site, The Parish Centre, St. Chad’s Church, Coleman Road, Leicester, which is close to the community we already serve.

 

What the new space will offer:

1. Faith-based programmes for girls

2. Creche and postnatal support for mothers

3. Parenting workshops

4. Youth conferences

5. Sports and fitness sessions

6. Counselling and mentoring

7. Weekend drop-in youth hub for girls
