Our hearts are heavy as we share the news of the passing of our beloved grandmother, Sakina Khala Perager, fondly known as Ma. She passed away peacefully on the blessed night of Jummah, April 3rd, 2025.
More than just a grandmother, great-grandmother, and great-great-grandmother, she was a pillar in our lives and a respected member of the community, touching the hearts of many far and wide. Her impact on us all is immeasurable.
To honour her memory and continue her legacy of kindness, we are establishing a fundraising campaign to build two boreholes; one in The Gambia and one in Sri Lanka.
Please join us to raise money towards this campaign.
We humbly beseech Allah (SWT) to grant her forgiveness, shower her with His boundless mercy and blessings, provide her with a noble and expansive dwelling filled with light, and welcome her into the highest gardens of Paradise, Jannatul Firdaws, alongside the Prophets, the righteous, the martyrs, and the truthful.
