Recalling my previous two visits to Yemen in 2019 and 2022, I was shocked at how bad the situation was there. I remember walking out of the children's hospital and breaking down after seeing all the malnourished children. I was shocked at seeing people's living conditions. I was shocked when a woman told us her fear of hunger was worse than her fear of bombs. The biggest issue there was that people had no food. Due to no fault of their own. 

Yemen is a country that I feel doesn't get the support it needs. For that reason, I have decided to fundraise for Yemen this Ramadan via Action For Humanity.

I chose Action For Humanity because I am confident that the money I raise for Yemen will all be used in Yemen and I will personally be overseeing allocation and distribution of aid and Cash Zakat whilst I am there.
